Continuing with Milan Fashion Week, we have the most expected collection yet, the Dolce & Gabbana one. This Fall/Winter 2010/2011 Collection comes strong with their typical classic looks mixed with a lot of new trends like polka dots, sheer, floral and animal print, velvet or lace. Check out how the next season's line gets presented!
Since these two got together they started working and creating clothing wear for women. Their first collection was presented in 1985 in Milan and by then their designs were homemade.
In the '90s, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana already put a mark in the fashion industry and their popularity came along with different awards and this was only the beginning of a new successful fashion empire known world wide.
In our days, the Dolce & Gabbana brand is one of the most influential luxury fashion houses. Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana are still keeping it on top by creating new collections in every season and reinventing their style every time
.
Some of their usual clients are style icons like Victoria and David Beckham, Madonna, Sophia Loren, Kylie Minogue, Alexandra Burke or Scarlett Johansson.
In the Fall/Winter 2010/2011 Collection, the two designers come once again with a stunning line at Milan's Fashion Week that keep their fashion sense in line with ordinary woman's desires. Their designs combine together the new, modern and vintage in the same time and this way their costumers are pleased because those looks are not only for limited aged people and they fit with everyone's style.
Even if the predominant color choice is their typical sophisticated and elegant black, they spice up a little bit this collection with the most looked up new trends: velvet, sheer, animal print, lace, all to put in value a woman's sexiness and beauty through their clothes.
Trends what seemed to be considered vulgar a few years ago, sheer, animal print or lace are now coming back so strong in this collection but with a very stylish and elegant touch that it's impossible to not find it attractive and mysterious in the same time.
Sheer designs are everywhere this season, but in the Dolce & Gabbana collection it's accentuated this trend by being very sophisticated and standing out with their details from everyone else.
The new lace trend comes hard on dresses and skirts the most. What a while ago was only used for lingerie, now attaches a feminine touch to these designs by keeping it luxurious and sexy.
Another overwhelming trend is the velvet textile material. Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana reinvent this trend by pushing it to the limit with some beautiful, elegant dresses that bring out every woman's refine taste.
As you can see, the two designers Domenico and Stefano presented their ideas in their Fall/Winter 2010/2011 Collection at Milan's Fashion Week by managing to pull off a new line for a new season.
